These girls had a great day on the field yesterday going 4-1 to win the championship. We seeded 3 which caused us to have to play 5 games. We defeated the #2 seed to get to the final game. Then played the #1 seed for the championship. The girls hit great and played solid defense and really worked together as a team. We were down 4-2 against a talented team and the girls rallied with clutch hits to get the win 8-4. Proud of the hustle and energy and teamwork! Was a great day of ball . Way to play ladies!!

Haley Gantt drove in four runs on one hit to lead Bladen County Starz 14u past Carolina Royals 14U 20-0 on Saturday at James L. Morgan Recreation Complex. Gantt hit an inside the park home run in the second inning, scoring three runs, and walked in the second inning, scoring one.

Bladen County Starz 14u won thanks in part to 15 runs in the second inning. Breelyn Peed tripled, scoring two runs, Kimberlin Barnes singled, scoring one run, Gantt drew a walk, scoring one run, Emilia Macias singled, scoring one run, Abigail Dicicco drew a walk, scoring one run, Alondra Perdomo singled, scoring one run, Payton Eyl drew a walk, scoring one run, Peed drew a walk, scoring one run, Kenley Smeigh lined out, scoring one run, Serenity Schmieder singled, scoring one run, and Gantt hit an inside the park home run, scoring three runs.

Carolina Travelers 14U got on the board in the top of the first inning after Natalie Ward singled to right field, Annabelle Haag doubled to center field, Bladen County Starz 14u committed an error, and Kayleigh Christopher doubled down the left field line, each scoring one run.
